High unemployment– and it stays there

Unemployment hits 9.5% after Obama promised that it wouldn’t rise above 8% if Congress passed his stimulus bill.

… According to Obama’s own economists, Obama’s stimulus bill– which was a dismal failure– cost American taxpayers $278,000 per job.

Update: Among numerous other failures, it’s been revealed that a $249 million grant to A123 Systems only created 400 jobs.
