Secretary of State Hillary Clinton finally testified about the Obama Administration’s cover-up of the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya– and it was not a pretty sight:
There’s a good commentary from CainTV about Hillary Clinton’s meltdown on the witness stand: “Questioned by Ron Johnson over State Department inaction the night of the Benghazi attacks, Hillary Clinton had a bit of a meltdown during today’s testimony. Johnson asked why Hillary hadn’t done more to determine the validity of the administration’s infamous claim that the attacks sprung from a “spontaneous protest,” and pressed her on the fact that she was still repeating the lie days later. Hillary did her best to avoid the issue, and then started yelling. “The fact is; we had four dead Americans! Was it because of a protest? Or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?” What difference does it make? It’s the difference between a government that fabricates events to cover-up its failings and a government that presents the truth of unpleasant facts. It’s the difference between a State Department that lies with impunity and one which is beholden to the people it serves. It’s the difference between an out-of-control bureaucracy and a government of the people. It’s the difference between reality and fiction.”
Hillary Clinton also attempted to halt Congress’ probing questions about the cover-up by feigning tears (probably setting back the potential for a female U.S. President by 50 years):
The man identified by witnesses as a ringleader in the attack continues to walk the streets of Libya without fear of arrest. Ahmad Abu Khattala has admitted being at the consulate during the horrific attack but has yet to be questioned by any Libyan authorities. Abu Khattala spoke to a New York Times reporter Thursday from a hotel patio as he sipped a strawberry frappe and mocked the US and Libyan governments. “These reports say that no one knows where I am and that I am hiding,” he boasted. “But here I am in the open, sitting in a hotel with you. I’m even going to pick up my sister’s kids from school soon.”
Update: During Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s testimony on the Obama Administration’s cover-up of the Libya attack, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher “alluded to the fact that no one involved in the Benghazi terrorist attack has been arrested while the man who made the anti-Islam film “Innocence of Muslims,” was arrested by California police for a parole violation. The administration originally said the video was the cause of the attack.”
After we learned that the Obama Administration lied to the American people about the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya and initiated a cover-up to help Obama win re-election, we’ve been informed that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton won’t be testifying about the incident since she’s vaguely ‘ill.’
Despite the fact that Susan Rice (the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. under Obama) lied to the American people by stating that the Benghazi attack was a “spontaneous mob reaction” instead of a terror attack, Obama wants her to be the new Secretary of State. Furthermore, according to the White House Press Secretary, Obama “is not particularly concerned” about whether Susan Rice misled the American people— which makes sense, since the evidence shows it was the Obama Administration that altered the CIA’s talking points about the Benghazi attack to help Obama win re-election. Susan Rice was just doing her “job” in helping Obama lie to the American people by getting false talking points out to the media. Of course Obama isn’t “concerned”– he wants to reward her with a cabinet position!
First, CIA Director David Petraeus resigned two days after Obama’s re-election over an “extramarital affair” with his biographer. Conveniently for Obama, Petraeus had been scheduled to testify in front of Congress next week about the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya– and now that Petraeus has resigned, he won’t be testifying. Now, it turns out that Petraeus had personally investigated the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, and we won’t hear vital information that could have blown the lid off of the Obama Administration’s obvious cover-up of this national security failure. It’s also been revealed that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is going to resign, so it’s doubtful we’ll hear anything about Benghazi from her either. All we have to go on are the words of the father of Petraeus’s “mistress,” who implied the bombshell story is just a smoke screen for something bigger.
Update: The scandal gets worse for Obama– because Petraeus actually gave honest testimony to Congress on November 16th. He admitted that he “knew almost immediately after the September 11th attack, that the group Ansar al Sharia, the al Qaeda sympathizing group in Libya was responsible for the attacks” despite his prior Congressional testimony that the attack at the U.S. Consulate in Libya began as a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim youtube clip. Petraeus has now testified that the CIA’s talking points to the media and the American people were edited to downplay the terrorist connection. While intelligence officials say they don’t know who changed the CIA’s talking points, what’s clear is that Obama benefited from Petraeus’ false testimony in September 2012. During the 2012 presidential election, Obama continuously asserted that Al Qaeda was ‘on the run’ while his supporters chanted “bin Laden is dead and GM is alive.’ Because of Petraeus’ false testimony, Obama could claim that his reaction to the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya was justified based on the intelligence available at the time. Furthermore, Obama was able to deny the occurrence of another Islamic terrorist attack on U.S. soil for 2 weeks before Election Day. A mere two days after Obama got re-elected, Petraeus’ extra-marital affair was exposed and Petraeus was thrown under the bus by the Obama Administration.
“Two hours after the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, the White House, the State Department and the FBI were told that an Islamist group had claimed credit, government e-mails obtained by CNN show… The subject line said: “Ansar al-Sharia Claims Responsibility for Benghazi Attack (SBU).” There was nothing about a youtube video or a spontaneous mob protest. However, Obama and his presidential administration lied to the American people about the nature of this attack for two weeks.
More importantly: The father of murdered former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods has come forward after Obama’s outrageous, unapologetic behavior in the wake of this scandal: “When [Obama] came over to our little area” at Andrew Air Force Base, says Woods, “he kind of just mumbled, you know, ‘I’m sorry.’ His face was looking at me, but his eyes were looking over my shoulder like he could not look me in the eye. And it was not a sincere, ‘I’m really sorry, you know, that your son died,’ but it was totally insincere, more of whining type, ‘I’m sorry.’” Woods says that shaking President Obama’s hands at his son’s memorial service was “like shaking hands with a dead fish.” “It just didn’t feel right,” he says of his encounter with the commander in chief. Moreover, bizarrely– inappropriately– and disturbingly, at the ceremony for the return of Tyrone Wood’s body, Vice President Joe Biden approached Woods’ family and asked, ‘Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?’
The news keeps getting worse: “And now that it’s coming out that apparently the White House situation room was watching our people die in real time, as this was happening,” Woods says, he wants answers on what happened—and why there was no apparent effort to save his son’s life… Woods says he was told by military officials that the military could have “come above [the area] and completely carpeted area,” and therefore saved the officials in Benghazi, Libya. But that someone gave the command for the American military not to save the lives of the Americans under attack.” Yes, that’s correct: “Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators twice to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team… Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the consulate which at that point was on fire… At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied… According to sources on the ground during the attack, the special operator on the roof of the CIA annex had visual contact and a laser pointing at the Libyan mortar team that was targeting the CIA annex… Fox News has learned that there were two military surveillance drones… Both were capable of sending real time visuals back to U.S. officials in Washington, D.C. Any U.S. official or agency with the proper clearance, including the White House Situation Room, State Department, CIA, Pentagon and others, could call up that video in real time on their computers.”
At least in Nixon’s Watergate scandal, no one got killed. The Obama Administration not only denied military assistance for U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and the other diplomats at the U.S. Consulate in Libya, but flat-out lied to the American people about the nature of the attack for approximately two weeks.
Obama, the U.S. President that the liberal media characterizes as ‘compassionate’ and ‘eloquent’: “Here’s what I’ll say. If four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal.” — Obama
UPDATE: The mother of an American diplomat killed during a terrorist raid on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi has hit out at Barack Obama for describing the attack as ‘not optimal’, saying: ‘My son is not very optimal – he is also very dead.’ Speaking exclusively to MailOnline today, Pat Smith, whose son Sean died in the raid, said: ‘It was a disrespectful thing to say and I don’t think it’s right. How can you say somebody being killed is not very optimal? I don’t think the President has the right idea of the English language.’
