Obama’s second inauguration misrepresented the effect of his policies and gave his ego a false boost. He ignored millions of unemployed Americans… thousands of American troops in harm’s way because Obama had no military or foreign policy experience… military heroes who feel betrayed by Obama… skyrocketing healthcare costs for American families under Obamacare… $50,521 owed by each American household after Obama’s out-of-control government spending… the most extreme divisiveness and partisanship in America since the Civil War… abandoned Hurricane Sandy victims… dead American diplomats in Libya and dead American hostages in Algeria… and the list goes on. In their place, Obama put 8 ‘citizen representatives’ on stage to speak about how their lives were “improved” under Obama’s first term.
Who were these ‘citizen representatives’?
- “Ida Edwards of Petersburg, Va,” a civil rights advocate– but Obama is openly racist, and actually invited a racist preacher to give the benediction during his inauguration.
- “Erica Chain of San Francisco,” who spoke about receiving medical care for a pre-existing condition under Obamacare– but less than one month afterward, we have a newsflash: “Tens of thousands of Americans who cannot get health insurance because of preexisting medical problems will be blocked from a program designed to help them because funding is running low.”
- “Lily Griego of Denver,” who said she was able to attend college because of government funding– of course, her household now owes $50,521 to the government thanks to Obama.
- “Kenyetta Jones of Toledo, Ohio,” who kept her job because of an auto bailout– which cost taxpayers billions of dollars.
- “Liz McCartney of New Orleans,” who helped rebuild after Hurricane Katrina– yet, Obama’s response to Hurricane Sandy was worse than Bush’s response to Hurricane Katrina.
- “Rob Hach of Alta, Iowa,” who started a green energy business– Obama spent billions of taxpayer dollars on “green” companies that he believed would support him politically, and the result was the Solyndra scandal and multiple bankruptcies.
- “David Hall of Washington,” who is pro-gay rights– while Obama is both pro-gay rights AND anti-gay rights, as a political convenience.
- “Petty Officer 2nd Class Taylor Morris of Joint Base Charleston, S.C.,” who served in Afghanistan– where it’s now so dangerous and unstable that Obama’s afraid to visit.
Obama’s inaugural speech was equally a joke:
“For now decisions are upon us, and we cannot afford delay.” — Obama [Obamarageous: … except for Obama’s luxurious vacations and extended absences.]
“We cannot mistake absolutism for principle, or substitute spectacle for politics, or treat name-calling as reasoned debate…” — Obama [Obamarageous: … except that Obama can call Republicans “Tea-Baggers” who are “pointing a gun at the head of the American people,” and Mitt Romney can be called a “bullshitter.”]
Calling it the current generation’s task to carry on the quest for equality, Mr. Obama urged the nation to make sure that women were paid equally to men and that gay men and lesbians were treated equally under the law… [Obamarageous: … but of course, Obama is allowed to pay women less than men in the White House, and Obama opposes gay marriage.]
“Our journey is not complete until all our children, from the streets of Detroit to the hills of Appalachia to the quiet lanes of Newtown, know that they are cared for, and cherished, and always safe from harm,” he said.” — Obama [Obamarageous: … when Obama says “all our children,” he means that quite literally– he’s not talking about American children in general, just his own children.]
And to top it all off, it was a fake inauguration. As usual with Obama, it’s all about show.
Remember this picture?
This picture of a Hurricane Sandy victim went viral and helped Obama win re-election. Now, the pictured victim, Donna Vanzant, feels even more victimized: “After his visit, I sent an email to President Obama. Many days later, I got a response back. It was disturbing. It had nothing to do with what I was asking him. It was a form letter. It thanked me for supporting the troops. He made a promise to rebuild on national television, and I can’t even get this money. It’s heartbreaking, really. I did reach out to Senator Whelan, and I got a response that they were forwarding my email to the person that Governor Christie put in charge of Sandy relief. But from President Obama, I got a form letter. When you get a hug from the President of the United States, you feel like there’s something there. A promise was made. I have two grown kids. One is a U.S. Navy diver. The other one lives at the marina with his wife and new baby, and they lost everything. But I raised my kids to know that your word is your word. You promise something, you keep it, and that was a broken promise. I’ve never been a person to expect free handouts, but the President gave me hope. But now, I just don’t know.”
Obama did such a great job in responding to Hurricane Sandy, huh? Chris Christie, the so-called “Republican” who might have singlehandedly gotten Obama re-elected thinks so!
Let’s look at what’s happening now: Gas rationing. And “looting and thievery have become such serious threats that taking up arms and fleeing town are the best options for staying safe” in New York and New Jersey. As the weather starts to get bad again, FEMA has been shutting down its offices “due to weather.”
New York and New Jersey: two Blue States feeling blue.
MSNBC’s Chris Matthews summed it all up immediately after Obama’s re-election: “I’m so glad we had that storm last week.”
America can thank the morbidly-obese “Republican” traitor Chris Christie for allowing Obama to appear bipartisan and “presidential” immediately before Election Day by appearing in Hurricane Sandy-hit areas of New Jersey with Obama and ditching Romney’s campaign rally: “President Barack Obama and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie cemented their new-found mutual admiration society on Wednesday, as the men gushed with praise for one another while touring damage from Hurricane Sandy on the devastated Jersey Shore.”
Ironically, the reality is that Obama mishandled the response to Hurricane Sandy and openly politicized the natural disaster while warning Romney not to play politics.
The Democrats can’t contain themselves: they are entirely thankful for Americans’ pain and suffering, because they believe that it propels them to victory over American individuals’ and states’ God-given liberty.
If the Democratic Party actually cared about democracy and freedom, it would argue that these military voters should be able to vote via e-mail or fax the same way that voters in the mostly-Democratic precincts in Hurricane Sandy-hit states are being allowed to vote. The Democratic Party is committing rampant voter fraud in this election– it’s all over the news, out in the open. On Election Day, Romney will need to win by enough votes to overcome the “fraud” margin.
New Yorkers are forced to look for food in dumpsters and defend their homes because of Obama’s mishandling of Hurricane Sandy
Hurricane Katrina < Hurricane Sandy: New Yorkers are forced to “dumpster dive” for food, and to fend off looters residents are “loading up their guns, sharpening their machetes and brandishing other deadly weapons.” And this is all thanks to Obama’s mishandling of Hurricane Sandy.
Obama wrongly assumes that all victims of Hurricane Sandy have Internet access: “When President Barack Obama urged Americans under siege from Hurricane Sandy to stay inside and keep watch on ready.gov for the latest, he left out something pretty important — where to turn if the electricity goes out… A call to FEMA’s news desk… found even they didn’t have any non-Internet information readily available beyond suggestions that people call 911 in an emergency. When asked where folks should turn for information if they have no power, a FEMA worker said, “Well, those people who have a laptop with a little battery life on it can try that way. Otherwise, you’re right.” Such blind spots are perilous to the public, experts say.”
However, for those victims of Hurricane Sandy who haven’t lost electrical power, Obama has an important message: “The president made clear that he expects his team to remain focused as the immediate impacts of Hurricane Sandy continue and lean forward in their response,” the White House said in a statement about Mr. Obama’s video-teleconference that he conducted from the White House Situation Room. “Forward” is the slogan of his re-election campaign.
