4 Americans killed in terrorist attack and the U.S. Consulate in Libya is destroyed on 9/11 anniversary

The U.S. Ambassador to Libya, along with 3 other Americans including 2 Navy SEALs, are brutally tortured and murdered by terrorists who destroy the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens had expressed concern about security, but was ignored by the Obama Administration.

It turns out that the U.S. State Department had credible information that an attack was going to happen 48 hours prior, but didn’t do anything about it and failed to warn the diplomats.

It also turns out that “sensitive documents have gone missing from the consulate in Benghazi” in the aftermath of the attack– including a list of names of Libyans working with Americans, “putting them potentially at risk from extremist groups” and undermining America’s credibility.
